The Manchester Arts Commission, created in 1937, is dedicated to promoting art of all forms within the City of Manchester. The mission is fulfilled in part by the coordination and maintenance of the City Hall Art Gallery, the Open Doors Manchester Art and Cultural Trolley Tour and it's work to sustain the McInnich Art Gallery. The Commission submits an Arts and Culture Plan to the Economic Development Office and Planning Board on a regular basis, helping to ensure that public works may possess beauty in the highest practicable degree.
