Maternal Child Health Dashboard

The Maternal and Infant Health Dashboard provides stakeholders, partners, and residents with a visual summary of key indicators that reflect the health and well-being of mothers and infants in Manchester. It is intended to support data-informed decision-making and guide efforts to improve outcomes across the community.

Why This Dashboard?

Indicators such as teen birth rates, infant mortality (<1 year), smoking during pregnancy, neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) births, timing of prenatal care (first trimester), preterm birth rates, and low birthweight outcomes help identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for early intervention and improved care.  By tracking these measures over time, the dashboard supports a clearer understanding of maternal and infant health trends and helps inform strategies to reduce disparities and improve health outcomes in Manchester.

  • Infant Mortality is defined as death of a live-born baby at < 1 year of age.
