New Hampshire state law requires you to notify the DMV within 10 days of a change in your address, so that the proper address appears on your vehicle registration and driver license records.
If you have moved from one Manchester address to a different Manchester address, or if you have moved to Manchester from another New Hampshire town or city:
You must complete a signed address change form and submit it prior to registering your vehicles. The form is also available at the Tax Collector's Office. An original signature is required, so faxed or emailed forms cannot be accepted.
**Registrations that we mail to you will not be forwarded by the Post Office. If your address has changed and you did not file this form with us, your mailed registrations will be returned to us.
If you have moved out of Manchester to another city or town in New Hampshire:
You must contact the Town Clerk or Tax Collector in your new town to register your vehicle. You cannot register with the City of Manchester even if you have received a renewal notice from Manchester.
If you lived in New Hampshire but have since moved to another state:
You must contact the DMV in your new state for information on how to register your vehicle and obtain a new driver license. You cannot register with the City of Manchester even if you have received a renewal notice from Manchester.
If you lived in another state and just moved to Manchester, NH:
See the New Residents page for information on the requirements and documents needed to register your vehicle.
