Office of Youth Services Advisory Board

BOARD FUNCTION/PURPOSE
The 15 members of the Office of Youth Services Advisory Board are volunteers from throughout the city of Manchester appointed by the Mayor for a three-year term. They represent professionals with an interest in youth services from the general community. 

The OYS Advisory Board's charge is to:

Advise The Office of Youth Services and residents of Manchester on the needs of children, youth, and families based on periodic assessments;

Facilitate coordination of information among agencies to maximize resources; and to

Advocate for an environment that fosters healthy, self-sufficient, responsible, and productive children, youth, and families.
