Renew a Food Permit

Updates to Operation

All food establishments operating within the City of Manchester must maintain a valid Food Service Permit issued by the Manchester Health Department. Permits must be renewed annually to continue operations.

If your establishment has changed ownership, equipment, or layout, you must complete a new plan review rather than a simple renewal.


Renewal Period

  • The Food Permit Application can be downloaded and filled out online.
  • Renewal notices are mailed to current license holders approximately one month prior to the permit expiration date as a courtesy.
  • Licenses are valid for 1 year from the operation's opening date.

How to Renew

You can renew your food permit by mail or in person. The Department does not accept credit card payment at this time.
