Thank you for contacting the criminal prosecution function of the office.  In response to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, much of the office is currently working remotely.  To help ensure that we continue to provide a high level of legal services to the community, with a victim-centered approach, please use the following contact information to allow for the most efficient and prompt response:

  1. If you would like to contact a specific prosecutor or have a case-specific question, please click the “Contact the Solicitor” tab and send us an inquiry through this website.  Your email will be routed to the correct individual who will respond to you directly.  If possible, please include the Defendant’s name and/or the MPD# in your inquiry.
  2. You may speak with an advocate from the Domestic Violence Prosecution Unit by calling (603) 628-6379. If you are experiencing issues with domestic or sexual violence, you may seek confidential, crisis services 24 hours a day from the YWCA by calling (603) 668-2299. Please leave your name and a phone number and you will receive a call back within 10 minutes. You may also seek confidential assistance by calling the National Domestic Violence Hotline at (800) 799-SAFE (7233) and through online chat at www.TheHotline.org.
  3. If you have a question regarding the scheduling of an upcoming hearing, you may wish to contact the Judicial Branch Call Center at 1-855-212-1234 (please have your Court Docket # available).

Pursuant to Manchester, NH Code of Ordinances §30.47, the Office of the City Solicitor shall handle all complaints filed by the Manchester Police Department in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester District Division. The City Solicitor shall be responsible for the prosecution of all offenses against the ordinances of the city and for such ordinances of the state as may be required of him by law.
