Voter Registration and Elections

The Office of the City Clerk conducts and preserves the integrity of all local, state and national elections held in Manchester, New Hampshire.  The next scheduled local election is the Ward 6 Special Election on March 2, 2021 to fill a vacancy on the Board of Aldermen with a term expiration of January 4, 2022.  This election will be held between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Henry J. McLaughlin Middle School at 290 S. Mammoth Road.

Interested Candidates (Ward 6 Special Election Only): In order to run for office in the upcoming Ward 6 Special Election, an individual must have the requisite qualifications to serve as alderman and submit the following completed applicable forms to the City Clerk during the filing period:

Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted during the special municipal filing period opening at 8:00 a.m. on January 4, 2021 through 5:00 p.m. on January 15, 2021.

Absentee Ballot applications for the upcoming elections can be printed using the link below and completed in the convenience of your home.  As a registered Manchester voter, you may mail, e-mail (cityclerk@manchesternh.gov), fax, or hand deliver your completed application to the Office of the City Clerk, One City Hall Plaza, Manchester, NH  03101
