Lactation Policy

The Lactation Accommodation Policy has been designed in compliance with the PUMP Act and NH RSA 275:78–83, “Policies Relating to Nursing Mothers,” to support nursing mothers in the workplace while maintaining efficient city operations. The policy provides eligible employees with a 30-minute unpaid break to express breast milk every three hours of work beginning July 1, 2025.
