Manchester Police officers were called to Grand Slam Pizza on Main St. just after midnight Friday morning for a report of a fight in the parking lot. When the officers arrived, two men immediately took off running. Despite orders from the officers to stop, the two men continued until Officer Charles Panica quickly chased down and arrested them both. Through further investigation, it was determined that one of the men, 22 year old Cleon Hoggard had assaulted a male subject at Grand Slam Pizza. Hoggard was taken to Police Headquarters and charged with Simple Assault, Resisting Detention, and Violating Bail Conditions. The second subject arrested in this case, 22 year old Robert Scadding was charged with Resisting Detention. The victim of the assault suffered facial injuries but did not seek medical attention at the scene.
