On 08-24-08 at about 11:30 PM, a woman arrived at Manchester Police headquarters with her infant child. Both the woman and baby were covered in tiny shards of glass but were not injured. According to the woman, she had been involved in an argument with her estranged boyfriend at his residence. During the course of the argument, she decided to leave and got into her vehicle with her baby.
As she proceeded to back up her vehicle, her boyfriend approached the vehicle with a tire iron raised up over his head. He then struck the windshield with the tire iron, which shattered the glass and then became imbedded in the windshield. The woman drove from the area and noticed that her boyfriend was following after her in his vehicle. However, she was able to reach the Manchester Police Department and report the incident to police.
Police later located the suspect at a Wilson St address and arrested him without further incident, identifying him as:
He was charged with Reckless Conduct (F) and Violation of Bail Conditions.
