On 8/22/08 at aproximately 8:50 am the Manchester Police Department received calls complaining of an intoxicated and disorderly female in Derryfield park. Further calls came in saying the white female was also screaming, walking into traffic and threw a can at a passing car.  As officers drove into the Park from Bridge Street they observed a woman matching the description driving a black SUV and almost hit a cruiser on Circular Drive. Officers were able to catch up to this vehicle and pull it over on Orange Street at Belmont Street. During the motor vehicle stop the female continued with her disorderly and belligerent behavior by screaming and swearing. Inside the car were several empty beer cans and one can that was 3/4 full. The female was identified as:

Karen McQeeney 43 years of age of Manchester

While officers were with McQueeney another Officer responded to a hit and run accident on Dutton Street by Concord Street. At this location witnesses described the suspected hit & run vehicle as a black SUV with the same regisrtration as the car McQeeney was driving. Damage to the SUV that McQeeney was driving matched up to the damage to the car on Dutton Street.

McQeeney was arrested for OUIL and Conduct after an accident.  There was also a warrant for her arrest for a prior Disorderly Conduct. She also received several motor vehicle summons for operating after suspension, lane control, speed, and open container.
