A joint investigation conducted by members of the Manchester Police Departments Special Investigations Unit and Street Crime Unit, the D.E.A. HIDTA Task Force, the New Hampshire Attorney Generals Drug Task Force, the F.B.I. Operation Safestreets Gang Task Force and the New Hampshire State Police Narcotics Investigations Unit resulted in the arrests of the following individuals yesterday afternoon.....


Heidi Melendez Plunkett

Manchester, N.H.



Fernando Diaz Rivera
3-21-74


Plunkett and Rivera were both arrested in the parking lot located at 581 Second Street in Manchester. Plunkett is charged with Sale of a Narcotic Drug (3 counts) while Rivera is charged with Sale of a Narcotic Drug (1 count) and Possession of a Narcotic Drug (2 counts). Both individuals are scheduled to be arraigned in Manchester Distict Court this morning.

Additionally, last evening members of the Manchester Police Departments Special Enforcement Division executed a search warrant at 430 Lake Avenue, 2nd floor. The following individuals were arrested at that location....

Elkin De Jesus Gaviria Alzate

Manchester, N.H.


 

 

     Hernandez was charged with Possession of a Narcotic Drug (cocaine) and Alzate was charged with Possession of a Narcotic Drug with Intent to Sell (cocaine). Detainers were also placed on both individuals by agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) due to thier immigration status. The aforementioned agencies listed above also assisted with this investigation.
