Welcome to Manchester!
On Inauguration Day I set a very aggressive agenda for my administration; we just celebrated our one month anniversary and I am proud to report that we are making progress. Here are a few of our new and exciting initiatives:
Mayor’s Night In/Mayor’s Night Out: It’s imperative to our success that we utilize every avenue to engage citizens, promote public awareness and increase participation in city government. To that end I have announced a series of Mayor’s Night In and Mayor’s Night Out events; we will open the doors to the Mayor’s Office after hours and go out into the community to hear from you. Transparency Initiative: Transparency is a must in city government. You will notice on each of the City Departments web page a link for “Department Expenditures” in the related links box to the right of the page. This will take you to a listing of the current vendors, contracts and payments in that department in excess of $10,000.
