DUNBARTON ROAD - TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION CLOSURE

Please be advised the City of Manchester’s Environmental Protection Division (EPD) will be constructing drainage improvements that will require the temporary closure of Dunbarton Road.  The closure will be located on the northern segment of Dunbarton Road, immediately south of Straw Road.  The closure will start November 29th and is expected to be completed December 17th.  Detour routes will be via Straw Road and Hackett Hill Road and will be posted accordingly.  Questions, please call 603-624-6341.

COHAS BROOK SEWER PROJECT – CONTRACT NO. 4

The Cohas Brook Sewer Project - Contract No. 4 will begin construction. This project will construct new sanitary sewers in Sunset Pine Drive, Pheasant Lane, Bodwell Road, and nearby cross-country areas. This work is being performed by Park Construction Corporation of Fitzwilliam, NH.

The work includes construction of new sewer main and sewer services that will require trench excavation and temporary road lane closures during working hours. Expect possible traffic delays at various times during construction of the approximately 2.5-year project. Police details and flaggers will be on-site to assist motorists. All streets will remain open to residences, businesses, and local traffic during all aspects of construction. Temporary paving of disturbed sections of the road will generally take place at the end of each working week. All roads will be fully reconstructed and repaved at the completion of the project.

Construction work on Sunset Pine Drive, Bodwell Road in the vicinity of Sunset Pine Drive, and in cross country areas to the west of Bodwell Road, began on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Work Hours on the project will typically be from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
