The Partnership for Parks Program encourages local businesses, landscaping professionals, and volunteers to help beautify public spaces such as parks, cemeteries, and trails. Spring Urban Pond and Park Cleanups
All cleanups are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Please arrive no later than 8:55 a.m. to sign in and receive an overview of the area and instructions. Trash bags, latex gloves, and a handful of trash pickers will be available. Please wear rubber boots if you have them and dress appropriately for the weather, as cleanups are held rain or shine!
- Saturday, May 4, 2024: Black Brook / Blodget Park. Meet in the parking lot on Front Street near Dunbarton Road.
Saturday, May 4, 2024: Crystal Lake Preservation Association Cleanup. If interested in participating, join the group from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Crystal Lake Beach. Crystal Lake Park is located off Bodwell Road in Southern Manchester.

Adopt-A-Veteran Memorial Plaque
In a partnership between Ward 10 Alderman Bill Barry and the City, the Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division, we made the plaques available for adoption for $300. The donation paid for cleaning, restoring, and preserving the plaque and mounting post.
