Flu Vaccine Clinics

The Manchester Health Department is reminding the community of the importance of an annual flu shot to prevent influenza. Routine vaccination is the safest and most effective way to maintain good health and avoid spreading influenza to others. Tim Soucy, Public Health Director at the Manchester Health Department states, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all persons 6 months of age and older should be vaccinated annually. Vaccination continues to be our best weapon in the prevention of flu and helps to maintain the health of our community.”

Adult flu vaccine is available at the Manchester Health Department during normal business hours. The fee is $20.00.  No appointment is necessary.

Children’s flu vaccines will be available free of charge during our regularly scheduled immunization clinics. Children, under the age of 18, are still asked to come accompanied by a parent or guardian.
