Join the Manchester City Library on April 16th at 6 PM for a Zoom presentation to explore one of the most baffling unsolved mysteries of the 20th century: the disappearance of the Yuba County Five. In 1978, five young men went to a college basketball game and never returned. The car they were in would be found days later, 75 miles in the opposite direction from home. The following spring, four of the men would be found deceased in a Forest Service cabin stockpiled with food and fuel. The fifth man has never been found and authorities have never been able to figure out what happened. Tony Wright, author of Things Aren't Right: The Disappearance of the Yuba County Five, has spent years researching this mystery. He's been featured as a case expert on the Netflix series Files of the Unexplained and has talked about his work in libraries across the country. For questions, call Nic Young at 603-624-6550 x7620 or email nyoung3@manchesternh.gov Signup for this program to get the Zoom meeting link!
