There are several fire roads on Manchester Water Works' land that are accessible to the public for hiking and biking use. The area on the back pond more or less in Manchester is restricted as well as most of the shore of the back pond. The pink hatching on the watershed map best describes areas that are off limits. Hikers should pay attention to all postings and be aware that the area is patrolled by our Watershed Patrolmen. Rules are posted at various locations on the watershed as well as on this web page.
