Sunday, June 24, 2012 – Dixieland Jazz Cruise
We’ll travel to Cape Cod and stop at Bailey’s Surf and Turf Restaurant for a delicious luncheon that features the freshest in New England seafood & beef. After lunch we’re off to the Onset Pier and step onboard for a 3hr cruise along the Cape Cod Canal while listening to all of your Dixieland favorites performed by the Lee Childs’ Bourbon Street Paraders. $85pp

When signing up for a trip there is a $10.00 non-refundable deposit due for each person and/or trip that you’re signing up for. Also the balance of a day trip is always due on the 1st week of the month before the trip. Example: if you have set up for a trip in July the balance of the trip is due on the 1st week of June.   
Also cancellation of a trip will incur charges since payments are due to vendors prior to the trip and trip policy requires recovery of those funds.
 
 All Boston plays and overnight trips require a $50.00 deposit. Balance of overnight trips is due at least 45 days prior to the trip. Thank you

Zumba is the hottest thing in exercise since Richard Simmons. Zumba trainers have adapted the program to allow seniors to participate while sitting. Join us for a Zumba Chair Demo. With enough interest we could begin our own Zumba Chair class. 
For the more able individuals we may also consider a regular Zumba class. Please let us know if you are interested.

Mah Jongg, the ancient game of the Mandarin Chinese has become a popular American pastime. A very small amount of time and effort is required to master the elementary principles of the game. Martha and Linda would like to introduce themselves and the game of Mah Jongg to all individuals interested in learning this fascinating game. Future classes and their cost will be determined by the number of interested parties.

Due to class scheduling the BP clinic will not be held in May, but will resume in June.
 
Rummage Sale – May 14-18 – 9am-3pm
It’s that time of year again when we go through the house and get rid of unwanted items. Good useable items will be accepted on Thurs & Fri May 10th & 11th ONLY. We will accept most items in good working condition. NO clothing please.
 
MAYOR’S SENIOR LUNCHEON
 
     The Mayor’s Senior Luncheon will be held on June 7th, 2012 at the Radisson on Elm Street, 12:30 to 3:30PM. The start date of ticket distribution will be on May 17th at 3PM and tickets will continue to be sold at the William B. Cashin Senior Activity Center, Monday through Friday, until the day of the Luncheon. Prizes, entertainment and dancing will be enjoyed throughout the afternoon. Parking is available in the hotel garage. Please bring your parking ticket to the Luncheon for validation for free parking. The MTA will offer free bus transportation for ticketholders to and from the event.
