Shortly after midnight on Dec. 29th Patrol Officers were dispatched to the Richdale’s Convenience Store at 90 Bridge St. for a reported robbery incident. Upon arrival officers met with a store clerk who told officers he had been robbed by two men that had just left the store. The clerk stated he was at the register when a white male walked in the store and made a purchase. The clerk further reported that as he was completing the transaction with this white male an Hispanic male walked into the store and made his way around the counter. The clerk told police the Hispanic male began to punch him and that he was knocked to the floor by this man. The clerk stated he tried to fight his attacker off and as he did so the white male started going through the store’s cash register taking an undetermined amount of money. The clerk reported after this man removed cash from the register both of the men then ran out of the store. The clerk was not seriously injured in the incident. He described the two men as follows:
White Male, late 40’s, 5’6” tall with a skinny build wearing a dark jacket and a khaki colored beanie-style cap.
Hispanic Male, 20-30 years old, 5’9” to 5’10” tall with a skinny build with a scruffy goatee and wearing a black hoodie with a gold design.
