On September 20, 2008 at approximately 0205 hours Manchester Police Officers Jeff Kelley and Pat Maguire, who were patrolling in the area of Elm and Hanover Street in the transport wagon, observed a 2006 Honda Civic travelling west on Hanover Street. The Honda was observed going through the red light as it turned right onto Elm Street. The car then drove up over the sidewalk on Elm Street and continued north on Elm. Officer’s Kelley and Maguire stopped the car on Lowell Street near Chestnut Street. Officer Kelley noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver's breath. Kristen Conway 28 of Manchester was given field sobriety tests. Officer Kelley placed Ms. Conway under arrest and she was taken to the Manchester Police Station and given the opportunity for a breath test. Ms. Conway was charged with Aggravated DWI as the breath test resulted in a .18 Blood Alcohol Level. Ms. Conway's new Hampshire Drivers License was taken from her and she was issues a temporary driving permit and released on $1000.00 PR bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Manchester District Court on October 01, 2008
