Manchester Police Officers responded to the Hanover St. Cumberland Farms just after midnight Wednesday for reports of suspicious activity in the parking lot. Speaking with the store clerk, the officers learned that a car with several people inside had been parked in the lot for over an hour. The officers eventually made contact with the occupants and it quickly became apparent that the group was involved in drug-related activity. Through further investigation it was discovered that the driver, 22 year old Leeann Duhamel of Franklin, NH was in possession of a substance believed to be marijuana. Duhamel was taken into custody at the scene and transported to Police headquarters to face the charge of Possession of a Controlled Drug.
