On 08-22-10 at 2:34 am, Manchester Police Officers responded to an address on Lowell St for a report of a Burglary in Progress. Two females were located inside the residence. They both had lacerations, one with serious injuries. The victims reported that the suspect had attacked them with a machete and left the area. Both victims were treated at a local hospital for their injuries.
The attacker was known to both females and identified as Angel Baez age 22, of 379 Union St. Manchester, NH.

Additional officers searched the area of Union St. and Sgt. Michael Begley located Mr. Baez in the alley behind the address. Mr. Baez was arrested and taken into custody without incident.
Angel Baez is charged with two counts of First Degree Assault, Burglary, and Violation of Protective Order. He is currently being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections pending a Court Hearing on Monday, August 23, 2010 at Manchester District Court. The Manchester Police Domestic Violence Unit and Detective Division are continuing with the investigation.
