Chief of Police David J. Mara, a current PAL Board member and longtime PAL supporter, recently made promotions within the Manchester Police Department.
Chief Mara promoted our first ever PAL Coordinator, Officer Brian O'Keefe, to the rank of Sergeant, on November 21st, 2009. Sergeant O'Keefe and his peers have worked tirelessly on behalf of PAL for the past 6 years, and helped open up our current facility. Sergeant O'Keefe is looking forward to staying involved as a board member, but has already began teaching his replacement, Officer Richard Ell.
Officer Richard Ell, a longtime PAL supporter and active PAL JUDO Coach, will take over as the PAL Coordinator. Officer Ell is looking forward to continue working with the youth of Manchester and help make a difference in thier lives.
