Meet Jay Ruais

 

Jay P. Ruais was sworn in on January 2, 2024 as the 49th Mayor of Manchester. He is an officer in the Army National Guard, a former policy professional, and nonprofit executive with experience working on issues like veterans care, addiction, and mental health. Jay lives in Ward 7 with his wife Veronica. He is a Member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 5163 in Manchester, belongs to the Henry J. Sweeney Post 2 American Legion, and is a parishioner at Ste. Marie’s Roman Catholic Church on the West Side.

His goal is to make Manchester the best mid-size city in the United States!
