The William B. Cashin Senior Activity Center is a recently constructed facility with modern amenities for many of our programs. Much of the center was built and furnished by contributions by generous citizens. Among other things, the facility boasts real wood floors for the large line dancing studio, kilns for firing greenware, computer lab, large general purpose rooms with fold out dividers, a pleasant indoor waiting area for the public bus stop, easy access to the public library, commercial kitchen, a lounge with fire place, a gift shop and outdoor picnic area. The center hosts a wide and ever changing array of classes and activities that are listed monthly on our calendar page.
The center also serves as a gathering place for individuals and a starting point for trips and events that take place outside the facility.
The center is located on Manchester's West Side, at 151 Douglas Street. There is a parking lot off the main entrance. This lot is also due to be expanded in the near future.
