As a result of the increasing incidents of drinking and driving, the Manchester Police Department applied for, and was granted, a Superior Court Petition to conduct a Sobriety Checkpoint.  The “Sobriety Checkpoint” is an effective method of detecting and apprehending the impaired operator.
