Per NH RSA 231:130-a, Notification of Unpaid Fines, if any of your vehicles have outstanding parking tickets, you must pay those tickets before any of your vehicle registrations can be renewed.
Online vehicle registration renewals will be blocked until one business day after these parking tickets have been paid.
To renew your vehicle registrations:
- If you have your vehicle renewal notice and a credit card, you can pay your parking tickets online. Allow one to two business days for your ticket payment to be completed. Then, you can reattempt to renew your vehicle registration(s) online.
- Alternatively, you can visit City Hall to pay your parking tickets and renew your vehicle registrations in person. Parking tickets must be processed at the Ordinance Violations Bureau, while vehicle registrations are processed at the Tax Collector's Office. Both agencies are located on the first floor in City Hall's west wing.
