Paving work on Porter Street (Cilley Rd to Mammoth Rd)

Published: 07/08/2026 2:56 PM

Continental Paving Inc., the contractor for the Department of Public Works (DPW), will begin paving work on Porter Street (from Cilley Rd. to Mammoth Rd.) on July 13, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

This roadway reconstruction project is expected to last approximately six (± 6) weeks.

Travelers and motorists are kindly asked to plan accordingly, avoid the construction area whenever possible, and use alternate routes. Clearly marked detour routes will be in place to help guide traffic safely through the area during the construction period.

While every effort will be made to minimize disruptions, please be advised that there may be temporary delays and limited access to properties within the project area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the community’s infrastructure.

Sincerely,
DPW – Highway Division
