
Spend the Summer with OYS!
OYS is excited to offer free programming to Manchester youth age 8-18 this Summer.
Programs are drop-in, so there is no need to register ahead of time. All materials and supplies are provided. Appropriate clothing and footwear are required.
- Programs run from July 6th through August 28th.
- *Basketball runs June 29th to August 13th.
Program Details:
- Art Journals – Explore your creativity and craft your own art journal.
- Arts & Crafts Afternoon – A new project each week to create and take home.
- Basketball Skills & Drills – Learn new skills and get to play games like knock out.
- Board Games – Choose from a library of games to play with friends.
- Chill & Chat – A supportive space to have conversations and connect with others.
- Dance Club – Explore new styles of dance and move with the music.
- Financial Literacy – Learn how to make and manage money the smart way.
- Girl’s Stretch & Conditioning – Stay sharp and get ready for your next athletic season.
- High School Book Club – Explore a new genre or read an old favorite again. Book selection to come!
- Middle School Book Club – Explore a new genre or read an old favorite again. Book selection to come!
- Music Exploration – Listen to music from around the world and get to play some fun instruments.
- Soccer Pick-Up Games – Join a team and compete every week.
- Soccer Skills & Drills – Learn new skills and up your game.

Making a Referral

OYS Services
- Provide short-term crisis intervention to youth.
- Keep kids out of the juvenile justice system for as long as necessary.
- Ensure safety and positive growth for all youth and families.
- Provide wrap-around services to connect youth and families to comprehensive resources.
- Create opportunities for youth to connect to resources and engage in positive activities.
- Connect youth and their families to basic needs and social support services.
- Engage and support marginalized communities including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and new American.
Other Services Offered
In addition to youth who may be involved with the court or diversion system, OYS works with youth experiencing: academic concern/poor grades, anger and aggression, bullying and fighting, change in behavior/communication, change in family structure/custody, self-harm, death or loss, divorce or marriage of a parent, home stress, homelessness, isolation, moving residence/changing schools, sibling tension, substance use, trauma, truancy/school refusal, victim of crime or violence, witness to crime or violence, and more.
