Walk For Your Health
The Parks & Recreation department, along with countless volunteers, developed Walk for Your Health. This is an organized group walk with two sessions - a spring session and a fall session. The spring session begins mid April depending on weather and runs through mid June. The fall session begins early September and runs through mid November.
The walks are from various points within the city, and are held on Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's at 9AM. We ask for a $3 donation to help pay for end of the year prizes and luncheon.
New this year there is a option to participate in Walk with Ease which will be at the same time and same walking route as the regular walks for the first 6 weeks. Walk with Ease is a more structured walk that is lead by a trained instructor.
