Community Police Division

Captain Richard ReillyCaptain Richard Reilly

Captain Reilly is presently serving in his 28th year as an officer with the Manchester Police Department. He currently serves as commander of the Community Policing Division. The Rhode Island native, and a graduate of Bryant University, has a history of diversified assignments ranging from patrol operations, recruitment and training, to child physical and sexual abuse investigations.  Rick also serves on the Salvation Army Advisory Board, the Weed and Seed Anti-Crime Strategy steering and planning committees, and the Manchester Police Athletic League Board of Directors.

The Community Policing Division is based on the premise that people are more interested in participating in policing their communities than being policed. Building partnerships with residents, businesses, and service providers for the purpose of establishing healthy and safe communities and promoting effective crime prevention education is our mission. The Division is comprised of five sections:  CP Area Patrols, Manchester Police Athletic League, Crime Prevention, Senior Services, and the Mounted Unit. If you have any questions about our community policing operations, please call me at (603) 792-5429 or email at rreilly@manchesternh.gov.  To obtain contact information for our community policing officers, please click on "CP Area Patrols" below.
