Please join the Manchester City Library in the Winchell Room on Wednesday, October 23, at 2:30pm to learn the basics of Google Docs. This easy, relaxed class will be 1 hour. Familiarity with Microsoft Word or other word processing program is helpful but not necessary. Some skills participants will learn are: Basic text formatting such as bold, italic, font size, font color. You will also learn editing features such as cut, copy, paste, and spell check. We will create a document and share it. Please bring a laptop if you have one. You may also use one of the library's laptops during the class. Class size is limited to 15. Please bring your own laptop, if possible. Please let us know if you need a laptop. There are 7 available. Please let us know if you will need one when you register. A handout of all tasks taught will be available. Instructor and Librarian, Amy Hanmer has worked with and taught Introduction to Google Docs, as well as Introduction to MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Signup for this program is required! |
