Information for Anthem members regarding wait times

We understand that many of our employees have been experiencing longer than expected wait times when calling Anthem member services recently.  Please know that we have addressed (and continue to address) this issue with them.  Like most companies, Anthem has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  They are working as quickly as possible to increase their member service representative capacity, and improve technology for their employees working from home.  Rest assured, this is a temporary issue. 

In the meantime, we encourage you to utilize the online tools available to you as an alternative to calling member services.

Families First Coronavirus Response Act

** EMPLOYEE RIGHTS under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act**

 

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or ACT) requires certain employers to provide their employees with paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. These provisions will apply from April 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020.
