Road Closure - Upcoming Utility Road Work on Beech Street tomorrow 6/24/25

Published: 06/23/2025 3:52 PM

Albanese D&S, the contractor for the Environmental Protection Division of the Department of Public Works (DPW), will be placing temporary pavement on Beech Street, from Somerville Street to Clay Street, tomorrow June 24, 2025 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

During this construction period, road access will be limited, and on-street parking will be prohibited during work hours. However, access to residential properties will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.

Traffic will be detoured to Shasta Street via Somerville Street and Union Street as needed. Please follow all posted detour signs and allow extra travel time for potential delays.

We kindly ask that you plan your activities accordingly and avoid the construction zone whenever possible. While we aim to minimize disruptions, some delays and temporary limitations on access should be expected.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to improve the community’s infrastructure.

Sincerely,
Environmental Protection Division
