The City of Manchester Pay Schedule is in effect for one year, and is published as of July 1st each year (the start of the City's fiscal year). Currently there are 36 salary grades (which begin at Grade 1). In each Salary Grade, there are 13 individual pay steps, which correspond to merit and promotional increase opportunities.
