Swimming

Public Swimming is available at two Manchester outdoor Pools: Raco Theodore and the Dupont Splash Pad on the West Side and Livingston on the East Side; as well as at Crystal Lake in the South End (of the East Side).

Raco-Theodore Pool

Dupont Splash Pad

Sheehan-Basquil Splash Pad 

Center City Manchester

11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Crystal Lake

Southeast Manchester
679 Bodwell Road
Bathhouse is open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Lake Massabesic is the city’s water source so there is no swimming in the Lake. 


General Pool Rules and Regulations

SHOWERS MUST BE TAKEN
BATHERS MUST WEAR APPROVED SWIMSUITS
NO SHOES ON THE POOL DECK
NO RUNNING, PUSHING OR HORSEPLAY
NO PLAYING ON LADDERS
NO SITTING OR HANGING ON FLOAT LINES
NO UNDERWATER DISTANCE SWIMMING
NO FLOATING AIDS, MASKS, FINS OR SNORKELS
NO CANNONBALLS, CANOPENERS, ETC.
NO DIVING
NO PETS IN POOL AREA AT ANYTIME
NO BIKES OR SKATEBOARDS IN POOL AREA
NO DIAPERS, NO BOTTLES, PLASTIC OR GLASS
NO T-SHIRTS OR CUT OFF SHORTS
NO CLIMBING ON GUARD TOWERS
NO SMOKING OR FOOD IN POOL AREA
NON-SWIMMERS MUST STAY IN SHALLOW WATER
LIFEGUARDS MUST BE OBEYED AT ALL TIMES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL MEAN EXPULSION FROM THE FACILITY
