If your property is outside of the downtown collection zone, you may request a free recycling cart by completing and submitting the form below. Please note the following:
- To be eligible for municipal curbside recycling service, your residence or place of business must be utilizing municipal curbside trash service AND your recycling cart must be placed for collection in the public right-of-way without unduly inhibiting pedestrian or vehicular traffic. See departmental regulations for a full explanation. Not eligible for curbside service? Recycle at the Drop Off Facility.
- If you already have a cart but consistently generate more recyclables than will fit, consider upgrading to a larger one. Email Pinard Waste Systems to submit your request. Be sure to include your physical address in the body of the email. NOTE: Thank you to everyone who has committed to recycle more by requesting a larger cart! Please note that we have had an overwhelming response. Swapouts will begin in July but will likely not be completed until September. Thanks for your patience.
- The number of carts provided to multi-family dwellings and businesses generating a large volume of recyclables will be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration need, availability, frontage space, and other factors.
- If your property is in the downtown collection zone, you receive service three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and you must purchase a recycling cart at the Drop Off Facility. To determine if you fall within this zone, contact the Highway Division.
