VNA Foot Clinic.
The Registered Nurses from the Visiting Nurses Association of Manchester & Southern NH are here every month to help with your foot needs. Foot Care Clinics help to maintain healthy feet that allow us to be active, reduce the risk of falls and decrease complications of diabetes and poor circulation. For a fee of $30.00, the foot clinic services includes a foot soak, trim and file nails, assessment of general foot health, foot care education and a referral to physicians when necessary. Diabetic patients who take anticoagulants or have PVD (Peripheral Vascular Disease) must have a note from their physician before services are provided. You MUST be a member of the William B Cashin Senior Center prior to receiving this service. To become a member of the Senior Center just stop by Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM to fill out a membership card and show proof of address. Every month Chris is here to perform FREE hearing screenings, clean your hearing aid(s), perform minor repairs and answer any questions that you may have regarding hearing aids, etc. Chris is also able to get batteries for your devices at an affordable price. Pain & Balance Assessments - Do you have physical pain or concerns about your balance? If so, stop by CPTE's Pain & Balance Assessment session. A physical therapist from our clinic will be at the Senior Center to assess your pain and/or your balance, as well as answer any questions about injuries or physical issues. We will discuss our findings with you and discuss ways to reduce pain and improve your balance and stability. Please stop by the front desk or call 603-624-6533 to make your appointment.
