In conjunction with Tewksbury Public Library, the Manchester City Library presents Hydrangeas - Which One is Right for Me? This lecture focuses on the key points that gardeners should consider before they invest in a hydrangea. With over 600 cultivars to select from, it's easy to select a plant based on some attributes only to find that it will denitely not be the right plant in the right place. Tjhe seven species are identified, examples of each are provided, and their best use in the landscape is examined. Led by Kathie Skiinner, a Senior Principal Master Gardener, the part Education Coordinator and current Master Gardener Training Coordinator for the Massachusetts Master Gardner Association. She is a retire educator with over 40 years teaching and sdministering in K-12. Kathie currently does education policy research and writing for various state and national education organizations. |
