The Baer Square fundraising committee is excited to share with you that we are approaching the completion of the Baer Square installation this spring. The official ribbon cutting to celebrate the unveiling of the Baer Square will take place on Friday May 10, 2019.
We hope you will join us in celebrating the installation in the Millyard in memory of long time Manchester resident and father of the video game, Ralph Baer.
Mr. Baer had more than 150 United States and foreign patents, and his contributions ranged from talking doormats and greeting cards to submarine tracking systems. In 2006, President George W. Bush awarded him the National Medal of Technology. In 2010, he was admitted to the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
