Walk ForYour Health

Charles DePrima, Acting Director of the Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Department has announced the annual spring schedule for the Walk for Your Health Program, which will begin at Livingston Park.  The walking group will start on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 9 A.M.

The first three sessions will start from the Dorr’s Pond warming hut located in Livingston Park on D.W. Highway (across from the Puritan Restaurant). The walks are open to people of all ages who want to get out in the fresh air, exercise and meet new friends.

 The first three walks will measure about 3 miles. Future walks will progress gradually to 4 miles and will start from various points around the city. Those interested in participating are asked to wear firm, comfortable footwear and loose clothing. There will be a one time three-dollar registration fee to help defray some of the program expenses. Request for Qualifications - Piscataquog Trail, Phase IV Design

The City of Manchester is requesting letters of interest from qualified engineering and design firms to design the fourth and final phase of the Piscataquog Trail.  Qualification packages are due by 4:00pm on February 17, 2010 to the Parks and Recreation office at 625 Mammoth Road in Manchester, NH. 


EXPANDED TAX OFFICE CUSTOMER SERVICE HOURS!

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!  EXPANDED CUSTOMER SERVICE HOURS!!!!!! The City of Manchester Tax Collectors Office is pleased to announce that starting Tuesday March 09, 2010, the office will be open for full customer service on Tuesday evenings until 8:00pm!   So, if you can't make it in to the office during the day, you now have another option!


Food Safety and Sanitation Seminar for Food Service Workers

02/24/2010 - The Manchester Health Department will be presenting a "Food Safety and Sanitation Seminar for the Food Service Worker" on Wednesday, April 21, 2009. This training as always is offered free of charge.


Manchester Master Plan Now Available

The City of Manchester’s Master Plan Document, adopted by the Planning Board in December 2009, is now available. We are excited to have this comprehensive plan in place, and look forward to seeing the potential of this city!

New Hours for the Office of the City Clerk

The Office of the City Clerk announces extended hours effective January 26, 2010.  The office will be open to all customers 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and open late until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings.  Customers seeking copies of certified records, business licenses, marriage licenses, dog licenses, election information, notary and most adminsitrative services are encouraged to take advantage of our expanded hours.

Customers are reminded that in many cases, you may be able to obtain certified records of Birth, Marriage, Divorce, or Death Certificates at the Manchester City Clerk's Office regardless of the town in which you reside.  Please contact us for more information at 603-624-6455 or email at cityclerk@manchesternh.gov.
