Principal's Message

Welcome to the McLaughlin Middle School Webpage. McLaughlin follows the Middle School philosophy which promotes teaming, collaboration, a student-centered approach and close home and school communication. A major middle school premise is that your child's education is a shared and cooperative venture between the home and school. Pre- and early adolescence is a very difficult time for most students as they are changing rapidly and exploring the world with different perspectives. We recognize these changes and plan our educational program to help meet your child's needs.

We look forward to a productive and exciting new school year. The 21st Century Afterschool Program is expanding. There will be three early release days to provide time for staff to work on school improvement initiatives and curriculum mapping. The adminstration and staff prides ourselves on the fact that we get to know each student individually and strive to meet their needs. We look forward to another awesome year.
