Welcome to Beech Street School!
Beech Street School is located in the center city of Manchester and is a neighborhood school. We have an enrollment of 650 students in Kindergarten through grade five. Fifty percent of our students are in the English Language Learners Program. Dozens of languages are spoken by our staff and students. We presently have the largest multicultural population in the state of New Hampshire. This diverse population has brought many new and interesting programs to the school.
The staff at Beech Street School always works in a cooperative manner; the school is truly a community and is supportive of all programs in the school. All staff at Beech Street School are sensitive to the needs of the children with whom they work. We are a Community of Caring School, promoting the values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Trust, Family and Acceptance.

We look forward to them working with our whole school, and especially in our third through fifth grades. Their idealism, passion and dedication make them outstanding role models for our students.
All children have the opportunity to be involved and busy at Beech Street School. 21st Century after school programs are very popular and there are many active and ongoing programs each session. Concerts, literacy programs and math events are also regular features of our school.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer. If you are a parent and would like to give your time please contact the school and speak with the parent coordinator. We also encourage parents to meet regularly with their child's classroom teacher. This can be done through parent/teacher meetings. Report Cards are released at each trimester. Your child will demonstrate success if the school and home work together!
