There are many ways for parents and family members to be involved at Beech Street School. Whether attending monthly Parent-Teacher Group meetings, visiting the Family Resource Center, or spending some time volunteering, families are an important part of the Beech Street School community. Research tells us that successful students have families who are actively involved in their education.

The Parent-Teacher Group meets monthly, usually the second Friday of each month at 8:45am. Meetings offer families information about all that is happening at the school and the PTG plans a number of fun, educational events for families throughout the school year. Volunteer opportunities include weekly popcorn, photocopying, laminating, classroom support and special projects. Additionally, Beech offers a number of special events that invite parents in to visit classrooms, observe lessons, and learn ways to support learning at home.
