o Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) allows parents to transfer their child from a Title I school designated In Need of Improvement to another district school without that designation. All Manchester Public School are designated as In Need of Improvement (SINI). Manchester still offers parents the option to transfer their child from a Title I school to a non-Title I school.

Please note that though MSD will grant every child that requests School Choice a transfer to one of the recieving schools, due to enrollment numbers the offer may not be for the families 1st choice school.
