On November 26^th information was provided to the Manchester Police Department that Mayor Guinta’s city e-mail account had been accessed without authorization. Further information revealed that an undetermined number of unauthorized e-mails were sent out on the account. Immediate follow-up was conducted with Mayor Guinta and The City’s Information Systems Department.

 

The computer crime of unauthorized access to a computer or computer network is a felony level offense. Members of the public are asked to call the Manchester Police Department Detective Division at 668-8711 should they have any information to report regarding this crime.
