Manchester Police Officer Martin Swirko was working a detail at Milly's Tavern--500 Commercial St. at just after 1:00 this morning, clearing the parking lot after closing time. The officer noticed the owner of Milly's asking a male patron to leave the area, but it quickly became obvious that his requests were being ignored. Officer Swirko approached the subject who was identified as Jonathan Nault of Manchester. Despite repeated requests by the officer to leave the property, Nault refused to cooperate and he was eventually informed that he was under arrest. When Officer Swirko attempted to handcuff him, Nault screamed and fought, refusing to submit to arrest. With the assistance of other officers, Jonathan Nault was eventually taken into custody and charged with Criminal Trespass and Resisting Arrest.
