Manchester Police Officers were called to the area of Elm St. and Lowell St. at just after midnight this morning for a report of an intoxicated man who had crashed his motorcycle. Employees at the Black Brimmer bar on Elm St. reported to Police that James Malley was removed from their establishment and offered a taxi due to his apparent intoxication. Malley refused the taxi, and instead got on his motorcycle. Witnesses observed Malley do "burn out", after which he sped away and struck a parked car, then drove into the side of 16 Lowell St. Unable to restart his motorcycle, Malley fled on foot toward the area of Kosciusko St. A witness at the scene followed Malley and pointed him out to an off-duty Police officer in the area. James Malley was then taken into custody and charged with DWI and Conduct After an Accident. Mr. Malley suffered no injuries as a result of this accident.
