This week's CRIMELINE CRIME OF THE WEEK is a SEXUAL ASSAULT

 

that was reported to Manchester Police on Sunday June 14, 2009.

 

On that date at approx. 1:30 a.m. Manchester Police responded to the area of 295 Lowell St. for report of a sexual assault in progress. On arrival officers spoke with a woman who stated that a male subject approached her as she was walking and threw her to the ground. The attacker then began sexually assaulting her until a neighbor approached after hearing her calls for help.

 

The attacker is described as a white male, approx. 25-30 years old, 5-08 to 6-00 tall and approx. 200 lbs. with an athletic build. He is described as having short dirty blonde hair. The subject was last seen running northerly from the attack.
